During Mrs. Booth’s career in education, she has worked at 6 different schools, 5 of which she helped open in their first year. “Having the rare opportunity to open 5 new schools gives me a unique perspective of the challenges district leadership, school staff, and the parents and students face as you build a new school community. As our county grows my knowledge and experience helping to develop a successful collaborative school culture will play an important role in our School District’s continued improvement,” Booth explains.
Erika also spent time working for a local not-for-profit, Community Vision, as project manager for the Youth Leadership Osceola and Project OPEN programs, serving at-risk youth and adults in the community. She also served as the Business Partners in Education Specialist for the Osceola School District engaging local businesses in volunteerism.
